Rebuilding Trust

Most couples who come to me aren’t lacking effort—they’re stuck in patterns they don’t know how to break.
You may find yourselves having the same argument over and over, feeling disconnected despite trying to fix things, or struggling to rebuild trust after addiction, betrayal, or repeated conflict. At a certain point, it stops being about willpower—and starts being about understanding the cycle you’re in.
I specialize in working with high-conflict couples and couples impacted by addiction using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a structured, research-backed approach that helps you understand what’s happening underneath the conflict and how to respond to each other differently.
My work is active and focused. I help you identify the patterns that keep you stuck, slow down the moments where things go wrong, and guide you in building new ways of communicating that actually create connection and trust.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California with experience in addiction treatment and working with couples navigating complex relational dynamics. I work best with couples who are motivated to change, willing to look at their patterns, and ready to invest in doing this work differently.
If you’re serious about improving your relationship, I invite you to schedule a consultation.
Meet Jayson
My background in addiction treatment and relational work has shaped a structured, active approach to therapy. I don’t take a passive role—I help couples identify the patterns that keep them stuck and guide them in building new ways of responding to each other that create real change.
What Working Together Will Feel Like
I offer a steady, nonjudgmental space where intense patterns slow down, emotions feel safer, and trust gradually becomes possible again.
